We have so many awesome families who are a part of our daycare and preschool community! Some of them took time to share about their experience here:
Our family found Saint Timothy several years ago when our first child was 3 years old. We had always placed her with in-home day care centers because we felt that she would get a more loving and nurturing atmosphere since I was not able to stay at home. After the second in-home care center closed unexpectedly within a 9 month period of time, we were in a panic to look for child care for her. We were faced with the decision to go with an actual day care center since there would be more consistency since my husband and I both work.
Our search led us to Saint Timothy. We were immediately blessed by an environment of wonderful people! As soon as she started, she was not only cared for, but she was nurtured, given religious education, as well as given the opportunity to form fond memories of the wonderful teachers and experiences she had daily. We are now preparing to have our third child start at Saint Timothy and it is a true blessing to have the peace of mind to know that they are in the most loving of hands!
My husband and I smile every time our kids come home and sing songs, or tell us about what they learned at Atrium, or show us the activities that they did during the day. We could not be happier with the care and education that they are receiving at this age.
Our journey with St. Timothy Preschool and Daycare started back in 2017. We are a family of seven and both mom and dad work. When we moved to the East Valley, our main concern was to find a good daycare and preschool that align with our family values and most importantly, with our faith. I still remember the day that a friend mentioned that the St. Timothy Church had a great daycare/preschool program.
Our 5 kids were/are in the Preschool, Pre-K and Daycare program. I cannot fully express how grateful we are to every teacher that they have had during this journey. We have met wonderful families and we see them every morning drop off or every afternoon, as we rush back to pick up the kids.
There is something special at St. Timothy Preschool and Daycare. On aspect of this is how full each day is for our kids. The activities go from coloring, painting, playing outside, dancing, music class, exploring a variety of topics, and most importantly, they get to experience an introduction to the Catechesis of the Good Shepard at an early age. Also, two of our kids have been blessed to graduate from the Pre-K program which gave them the necessary tools to succeed in the future years (currently 3rd grade and 1st grade). In just a few months, it will be three of them.
We are very grateful to belong to the St. Timothy Preschool and Daycare community all of these years and very excited to the ones to come. We now can confirm that God had a plan for us back in 2017 when we moved to the East Valley. -- The Poppleton Family
Our children have been attending St. Tim's Daycare and Preschool since 2015. From starting out in daycare as infants, we have had great successes with our kids adapting to the caregivers there; providing adequate attention and needs with each of our kids; as well as any unexpected requests as they arise -- administering medication, allergies, extra attention to potty accidents, etc.
We enjoyed receiving little daily reports, and were always notified when supplies were low for our child. Overtime, the facility implemented an app base program for check-in and progress, and enjoyed receiving digital updates of our child and general communication from them. They have always been very communicative and help out in any way they can.
Our kids have even grown great bonds with several of the staff at St. Tim's that they have even become our babysitter at times. As our kids grew older and participated in the preschool program, they have been blessed with amazing teachers and aids providing early learning opportunities, supplemented with growth skills at their appropriate age. From religious education, music and dance, to helping learn to tie their shoes, say their prayers, and potty training. They make a valid effort to get to know you, and your child, and their care and kindness goes a long way, especially when you receive the big hug at the end of the day from your child and hear the stories how how fun their day was.
We have enjoyed the various programs and events that the school has hosted - from winter and end of year concerts, to pumpkin pie with parents, and mothers/fathers day treats with kids. As our oldest aged out and changed schools, we felt she was well prepared to enter Kindergarten, and that in part, was due to St. Tim's as well.
As working parents, finding the right place for childcare is always hard, as you're trusting others to take care of your child and their needs, and balancing that with other children to care for simultaneously while running a facility. We have seen St. Tim's grow and change over the years, always continuing on with great strides. There was no hesitation when it came to St. Tim's, especially knowing other fellow parishioners were sending their kids there, and even members of the St. Tim's parish worked there as well. We knew that our children would be in good hands, with caring and kind people, who were also supporting their developmental and religious growth in the process. We are very fortunate that St. Tim's Daycare and Preschool was available to us in our time of need for childcare, and are very pleased with how they have supported our children's growth throughout the years. -- The Rangus Family
We have had the honor of having St. Timothy Daycare and Preschool as part of our "extended family" for five years. Our four children have all attended since the infant room. With each addition to our family, the love the team gives to our children grows and grows! Each age group has different activities that help the kids have positive peer interactions, develop their fine motor skills and learn fun things such as colors and shapes. All while keeping a Christ-centered environment!
We enjoy the additional sense of security that their ProCare app provides. Whether it's messages from the school about a child or photos of activities, it keeps us in the loop in real-time. We enjoy our evening talks at dinner about the kids' favorite parts of their day. Their responses usually consist of playing with friends on the playground, as well as what they learned that day either in preschool, PE, music, or Atrium time.
The St. Timothy team has brought many people into our lives that are like family to us and have continuously shown grace and patience when helping us navigate through these adventurous years with our little disciples! -- The Fell Family
