C.A.L.L. East Valley will mirror the C.A.L.L. program of the Diocese of Phoenix, but operates independently in terms of registration. Teens are welcome to register now for the 2018-19 seminar year. C.A.L.L. East Valley is a multi-parish effort and involves youth ministry leaders from several other locations. While it is operated through St. Timothy's, teens from every parish are encouraged to participate in the C.A.L.L. program!

Each Seminar date will follow the same time schedule. Our Life Teen Loft is located near the South Entrance and available for teens to meet eachother, play pool, foosball, etc. prior to the beginning of seminars at 2pm.
Upcoming Seminar topics:
Year 1 - "Setting the Stage & Unpacking Genesis"
In this seminar, St. John Paull II's teachings in Theology of the Body help us undersatnd how we should love others and what our purpose is on this earth. This foundational seminar will help ensure all teens have a shared vocabulare that will be essental for all subsequent seminars.
Year 2 - "Beauty of Biology...Femine Sexuality: the Call to Spiritual Motherhood/Masculine Sexuality: Power & Responsibility"
This seminar covers reporductive anatomy and physiology, contraception and the contraceptive mentality, true masculinity and femininity, the unitive and procreative nature of marriage, ate-appropriate scientific basis for Natural Family Planning, and sexual morality. The Church's beautiful teachings intertwine with the truth of science to show us the beauty of our biology.
**This seminar is provided for girls & their mothers in one room, and guys & their fathers in a separate room.
Year 3 - "Philosophical Basis for Christian Bioethics / Abortion & the Exploitation of Women"
We begin presenting the Catholic Worldview by discussing natural law and revelation, discussing the idea of law in a society and how private decisions affect society, as well as the legal history of abortion and how its acceptance reveals the devaluation of the human person and the exploitation of women.
