The Arizona State Hospital (ASH) is located on a 93 acre campus at 24th Street and Van Buren, in Phoenix, Arizona and provides a welcoming environment and full continuum of psychiatric and medical care for 260 of Arizona's most severely mentally ill adults. ASH provides inpatient care and treatment to patients with mental disorders, personality disorders or emotional conditions. ASH protects the rights and privileges of each patient, including the patients’ rights to confidentiality and privacy. The hospital promotes hope and wellness for our patients and creates opportunities to participate in planning, delivering and evaluating services that assist with recovery.
