Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a conferal of special grace upon those suffering from serious illness or in the danger of death. In the sacrment, a priest anoints the sick individual with sacred oil and prays over them. The sacament is a continuation of the healing touch of Christ. 

Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the Church, and they should pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of the faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. (James 5:14-15)
