What's happening in 1st Grade:
We are learning how letters can combine to
make new sounds. We are practicing
blending sounds to read and write words.
We are reviewing basic addition and
subtraction skills.
We continue to learn about the first 5 DWP
skills to help us develop self-discipline.
We are learning about our Church
community and why it is important to listen
to God's Word.
We are investigating some of the wonderful
things in God's Creation, such as:
trees and the four seasons.
